BISMARCK –Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring is encouraging North Dakota commercial feed manufacturers and fertilizer distributors to make sure that their annual tonnage reports have been received by the North Dakota Department of Agriculture by Jan. 31.
Dr. Jesse Vollmer, assistant state veterinarian, and Greg Wilz, deputy director of the North Dakota Department of Emergency Services, will present certificates of commendation to people involved with the emergency sheltering of pets during the 2011 Mouse River flood.
The presentation will be at 11:45 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 26, in the Norsk Room on the upper level of the State Fair Center in Minot.
