Ag Exhibit on display at State Capitol
BISMARCK – North Dakota agriculture will be on display at the State Capitol, Monday through Friday, March 5-9, during National Agriculture Week.
“This is the time to celebrate the work and achievements of North Dakota’s 30,000 family farmers and ranchers,” said Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring.
The Ag Exhibit, developed by the North Dakota Department of Agriculture and the state’s commodity groups, will be on display all week in the Memorial Hall on the first floor of the Capitol. The display contains pictures, samples of agricultural commodities and products made from those commodities.
On Thursday, a special Ag Day lunch will be served in the Capitol Café, and Goehring will announce the winners of the National Agriculture Week essay, video and poster contests.
