Devils Lake Restricted Area Complex R-5401/5402/5403
The dimensions of the Devils Lake Restricted Area Complex were significantly increased in 2012. Please see blow for a graphic description. Please note that R5402/5403 are activated on a schedule, normally daily 0700-2200. Check your NOTAMS. The airspace was first reflected on the IFR Enroute Low Altitude chart 20 SEP 2012 and the Twin Cities VFR Sectional Chart 10 Jan 2013.
The method in which the Unmanned Aircraft transits to and from the Devils Lake Restricted Area Complex is through a new area connecting to the 11 nm arcing TFR at the Grand Forks Air Force Base. The graphic depiction below depicts the corridor from 9,500-17,999’ MSL.
