Educational Activities
At the Department of Labor, we believe that proactively educating the public about labor and human rights laws is one of our most important responsibilities. This responsibility encompasses both educating people about their individual rights and helping employers and service providers understand their rights and responsibilities in order to prevent violations of law.
To fulfill our educational obligations, we produce and distribute a variety of printed educational materials. In addition, we host informational booths at appropriate conferences and conventions and provide educational presentations and seminars to many groups each year. To request information or to schedule a speaker from the department, please contact us.
