E-Government Initiative

ITD Software Development started an e-government team (e-team) in 1999. The e-team consists of application developers and web site designers. Their purpose is to develop and operate applications that provide government services via the world wide web, and to establish and implement the architecture, policies and standards for developing e-goverment applications.

• E-team Charter

The e-goverment initiative was successful. By 2004 ITD had 28 developers trained to develop web based applications. In March, 2005 the e-goverment team's web development staff was deployed to various software development teams.
