North Dakota Information Technology Department (ITD)
Basic phone service is the activation of a port in an ITD provided telephone switch.
A port can be a digital or analog circuit. Telephones connected to analog ports are included in this service. ITD charges a monthly fee while the port remains active. A basic telephone set is provided by ITD and included in the monthly fee.
