Enterprise Initiatives

ITD is responsible for reviewing and approving the acquisition of technology by state agencies. Acquisitions must meet state standards and be consistent with the agency's technology plan.

Current Initiatives

SLDS - Statewide Longitudinal Data System

The Statewide Longitudinal Data System Committee was established to plan for and recommend a system to share and report data from state education, training and employment systems.

CJIS - Criminal Justice Information Sharing

North Dakota Criminal Justice Information Sharing (CJIS) was created to improve public safety by providing a common on-line environment where authorized state, county, and local officials can access offender records and other criminal justice information from participating entities.

GIS - Geographical Information Systems

The North Dakota Geographical Information Systems web site is the portal to North Dakota geospatial data and information. The data, interactive maps, and other information available here are the results of a collaborative effort by North Dakota state agencies, local government, and private enterprise.

ConnectND

Connect ND is North Dakota's state-wide implementation of PeopleSoft's ERP solution

Stagenet

STAGEnet provides broadband connectivity, Internet access, video conferencing and other networking services. All state agencies, colleges and universities, local government, and K-12 are required to participate in STAGEnet.
