Many entities, including ITD, are experiencing excessive logging on Exchange servers following client upgrades to Apple iOS 6.1. Apple has not yet acknowledged the problem or stated when a fix might be available.  Until they do:

  • iPad and iPhone users who synchronize email with ITD’s Exchange servers are strongly advised not to upgrade to iOS 6.1.
  • Those who already have upgraded to iOS 6.1 should avoid using their iPad or iPhone to accept or confirm calendar invitations.
