Molly Brooks is the Interim Director of the Criminal Justice Information Sharing Program (CJIS). Molly was born in Minnesota and spent much of her childhood living in North Dakota.

She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Economics and Public Policy from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. She also has a Juris Doctorate from the Chicago-Kent College of Law. Molly is also currently in the final stages of earning her Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential.

In addition to serving as the Interim CJIS Director, Molly is continuing her work as CJIS’s ND SAVIN Program Manager. Prior to CJIS, Molly worked as an attorney at Sidley Austin LLP and served in several nonprofit roles, including operations and programs manager, program manager, outreach coordinator and strategic planning consultant.

Molly is married to Josh Swigart. They have many relatives in North Dakota and a wonderful dog named Pippa. In addition to spending quality time with family, Molly enjoys volunteering for the Missouri Slope Areawide United Way, spending time outdoors, traveling, and ballroom dancing.
