Governor Dalrymple has issued a Proclamation of Cyber Security Awareness Month in North Dakota. The October event is an opportunity to engage state and local government agencies, as well as the general public, to create a safe, secure, and resilient cyber environment.

ITD is concentrating on educating agencies to be more aware about the dangers of the Internet and cyberspace. As part of Cyber Security Month, ITD extends an invitiation to participate in a national webcast called, "Cyber Security and You: Top 10 Tips" which highlights trends in information security. This webcast is hosted by Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center.
