Networking

The Networking section is responsible for supplying voice, data and video communications services to state government agencies. Some of the services provided by the Networking Section include:

• A statewide data network - to over 50 cities and towns with connections to most state agency LAN¹s, and access to national networks. ITD also provides a World-Wide Web (WWW) Home Page for North Dakota State Government.
• Audio and Video Conference Service - both meet-me and operator assisted audio conferences; video conferences via ND IVN or via dial-up.
• Wiring - assist state agencies in the design and implementation phase of all building wiring for Local Area Networks, as well as telephone systems.
