Gary J. Vetter leads our Enterprise Services Division. Gary started at ITD in 1987. He holds an Associate's Degree in Computer Science from the ND State College of Science, a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Mary, and a Masters Degree in Management from the University of Mary.
When asked about his job he said, "I have the best job in ITD. Every day, I assist customers that are passionate about providing government services to the citizens of North Dakota. I also get to work with hundreds of people within ITD that live-and-breathe technology. Aligning these forces has proven to be the recipe for success."
Some of Gary's hobbies include movies, Chicago Bear football, and just about everything that living in North Dakota has to offer. His wife Jeanne and their two sons keep the smile on his face.
The Enterprise Service division is responsible for coordinating ITD's people, process, and technology in a way that promotes customer-centric services. This division fosters customer relations and aligns ITD's services with customer expectations. The Service Desk is the heart of this division; it provides customers with a "Single Point of Contact" for advice, guidance, and the rapid restoration of services.
