Education Technology Council (ETC) Director

Darin King is the Education Technology Council (ETC) Director. The North Dakota Educational Technology Council is a state board responsible to develop technology systems and coordinate their use to enhance and support the educational opportunities

There are two primary divisions within the ETC.

1. The ND Center for Distance Education provides high-quality distance learning experiences to a broad learning community in accordance with the best that technology and distance education can offer.
2. EduTech provides information technology services and education technology professional development to K-12 educators in North Dakota. Their services are designed to give educators access, training and support to use technologies in their classrooms to improve teaching and learning. PowerSchool, the state's statewide student information system is one of the primary technologies managed by the EduTech staff.
