Minimum Qualifications:
- Earned doctorate degree in soil biology, soil microbiology, or biology with a soil ecosystem focus
- All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
- English proficiency

Summary of Work:
The Dickinson State University Department of Natural Sciences is seeking an individual to fill a nine-month, tenure-track faculty position in Soil Biology/Microbiology. This position will teach classes for both the Department of Natural Sciences and the Department of Agriculture and Technical Studies. The primary load will consist of soil science courses, introductory biology, microbiology and cell biology, corresponding labs when applicable, and other courses as needed. Teaching loads are typically 12 credit hours per semester (16-18 contact hours including some lab preparation) plus advising, committee work, and departmental duties.
