Applicants must hold a doctorate in a biological science from a regionally accredited institution. Previous teaching experience is desirable. English language proficiency is required. Candidates with zoological curatorial experience and an interest in collaborative undergraduate research will be given preference.

Summary of Work:The Dickinson State University Department of Natural Sciences seeks an individual to fill a nine-month, tenure-track faculty position in Biology. The successful candidate must be committed to student learning and scholarly development; moreover, they will demonstrate an enthusiasm for life-long learning and innovative teaching. The primary load will consist of courses in zoology, human and animal anatomy and physiology, and pathophysiology, with other courses as needed. Teaching loads are typically 12 credit hours per semester (14-16 contact hours including lab preparation) plus advising, committee work, and departmental duties.
