Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, finance, banking/lending or real estate, plus four years of work experience in affordable housing development, city planning, multifamily and single family real estate development, commercial real estate, or banking/lending. The Agency at its discretion may substitute specific experience as described for the education requirement. Experience should include analytical skills, problem solving, initiative, organization, excellent report writing, and communication/interpersonal skills. Additional requirements include successful completion of the interview process and reference checks.

Summary of Work:

This position will work directly with the Planning & Housing Development Director to provide program outreach to North Dakota’s rural areas.  Provide technical assistance to identify housing needs and develop local housing strategies. Assist rural communities and tribal reservations with development of housing projects.  Process loan application packages for various programs administered within the Division.  There will be travel involved.
