Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a bachelor’s degree in mathematics/finance/actuarial science or related field and four years of professional work experience in a health insurance related field.  Comprehensive understanding of health care reform as it pertains to pricing and rate filings, medical loss ratio and rebate calculations.  Ability to work with actuarial pricing and financial projection software packages.  Membership in the Society of Actuaries (SOA) or American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) is preferred.  In-depth knowledge of health care industry and trends.  Knowledge of life insurance industry helpful. Strong written and verbal communication skills needed.
