Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a high school diploma or GED, and a combination of two years of training (i.e. police academy, military police school, etc.), education, and/or work experience in criminal justice, law enforcement, security operations or a closely related field.

Summary of Work:

Will participate in security implementation by providing direct service such as escorting and resident supervision.  Will assist in planning, implementing, reporting on and coordinating safety and security programs in Secure Services of the Sex Offenders Program.  Work will include assisting with conducting studies; investigations; policy and procedure coordination and implementation; complete secure facility inspections in compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements and in conjunction with Safety/Security Department.  This position will assist in assuring compliance with regulations and standards, among other safety codes.
