Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a master’s degree in social work, counseling, or other master’s degree approved by the North Dakota Board of Counseling Examiners, and licensure as a LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) or LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor). 

If unable to find fully-licensed candidates, will consider underfilling with a Human Relations Counselor (4142), which requires a master’s degree in social work, counseling or other master’s degree approved by the ND Board of Counselor Examiners, and licensure or eligibility for licensure as a LCSW (Licensed Certified Social Worker) or licensure as a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor). 

Strong computer skills are required. Must successfully complete a standard background and criminal record check.

NOTE: APPLICANTS GRADUATING AT THE END OF THE CURRENT TERM ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY AND WILL BE CONSIDERED.  LICSW OR LPCC STAFF MEMBERS MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR STUDENT LOAN FORGIVENESS AS BADLANDS HSC IS A QUALIFYING AGENCY WITH THE NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE CORPORATION.
