Location:
Jamestown Minimum Qualifications: Requires high school graduation or GED and two years of work experience in duties involving special population groups such as the mentally ill, developmentally disabled, children and adolescents, or patients/clients in a direct care facility such as a hospital, nursing home, or group home; OR one year of work experience as a Community Home Counselor I with the Department of Human Services; OR a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work, psychology, special education, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling, child development and family science, sociology, human resource management (human service track), nursing (RN), communication disorders (includes audiology and speech pathology), developmental disabilities, vocational rehabilitation, elementary education, or recreation therapy; OR an Associate degree in nursing (LPN) or mental health. Requires a valid North Dakota drivers license. Preference will be given to work experience in mental health. Must successfully complete a standard background and criminal record check.

Human Resource Division For More Information, Assistance or Accommodation Contact: Pam Knopp, Extended Care Coordinator Summary of Work: This is a temporary, part-time position, providing emergency coverage for staff during illnesses, vacations, etc. The option exists for additional hours (35-40 hours per month) beyond the emergency coverage hours. The individual selected must be able to work a flexible schedule on short notice, which may include weekends, holidays and evenings. The position is located in a transitional living home for individuals with serious mental illness. Duties include involvement in resident/direct care responsibilities, multi-disciplinary treatment team responsibilities, clinical documentation and transportation. Equal Opportunity Employer Back
