Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a master’s degree in social work, counseling, or other master’s degree approved by the North Dakota Board of Counseling Examiners, and licensure as a LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) or LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor).

If unable to find qualified applicants, will consider underfilling as a Human Relations Counselor (4142), which requires a master’s degree in social work, counseling or other master’s degree approved by the ND Board of Counseling Examiners licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Certified Social Worker) or an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor).

Qualified applicants must have ability to work with people, possess excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills; ability to handle multiple tasks, ability to work without direct supervision, and experience using general office equipment and computer skills.

Preference will be given to applicants who have significant experience working with adults and children who have received services from the child welfare system and have third party reimbursement in ND.

Summary of Work:

Clinician will provide mental health evaluation, treatment and case management to children and families who have severe emotional disorders/severe mental illness. The primary treatment modality will be family therapy but will also include individual therapy, parent guidance, and case management. The successful candidate will work closely with the multi-disciplinary treatment team. Some outreach services and travel may be required. Knowledge of community systems of care, case management, wrap around philosophy, substance abuse and family therapy models essential.  Documentation via electronic record is required.
