Vacancy Announcement Developmental Disabilities Case Manager II Location:
Fargo Minimum Qualifications: Must have one year of experience as a Developmental Disabilities Case Manager I in the ND Department of Human Services and meet the following definition of a Qualified Mental Retardation Professional (QMRP): "A person who has at least one year of direct care experience working with persons with a mental illness or a developmental disability; AND is a doctor of medicine or has a bachelor’s or master’s degree in one of the following fields: social work, psychology, counseling, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, child development and family science, communication disorders (includes audiologist or speech pathology), severely multiply handicapped, special education, vocational rehabilitation, sociology, elementary education, recreation therapy, or human resource management (human services track). (Certification or licensure in one of the above fields is not required for a QMRP designation).” Application Procedures:
For More Information, Assistance or Accommodation Contact: Wanda Carlson Summary of Work: Duties and responsibilities include accepting new referrals of individuals with developmental disabilities, assessing the functional level of these individuals, and working with them to determine eligibility for services and the desired outcomes of the services. The case manager will gather all pertinent information to develop an interdisciplinary team and write the service plan. The case manager will monitor the plan through the Quality Enhancement Review process, do regular assessments, and maintain an up-to-date client record. Position may require some travel.
