Course Contents
This 1-1/2 day program will provide you with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to implement or improve training programs within your agency. The emphasis will be on the development and application of the skills needed for delivering high quality, professional training. You will learn about:
- Adult Learning Environment
- Program Delivery
- Selecting Instructional Strategies
- Classroom Management Techniques
- Developing Performance Objectives
- Lesson Plan Development
You will also be given the opportunity to develop and present a brief (10 minutes) training activity and be given feedback on your performance.
Registration
- Cancellations made three work days or more before the workshop will not be charged. No-shows will be assessed the entire fee. Substitutions may be made any time. If you require any auxiliary aids or services such as readers, signers, braille materials, etc., please notify ND Human Resource Management Services seven days before the seminar.
- Peace Officers can receive 10 CEUs.
- Peace Officers can receive 6 CEUs.
