Emotional Intelligence/Social Skills Assessment
This program focuses on intrapersonal intelligence, which is the ability to know and manage yourself and your emotions and interpersonal intelligence which is the ability to know and understand others. As a pre-session assignment, the participant and chosen colleagues complete a Social Skills inventory on the participant. The inventory measures the participant’s interpersonal and organizational effectiveness in areas such as self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. The results of the survey are shared with the participant during the training session with the outcome focused on identifying steps to increase these skills.
Emotional Intelligence (EI) is the ability to regulate emotions in both ourselves and others. For years, it was thought that if a person possessed a high IQ they would succeed in their chosen career, yet a person’s IQ only contributes 6% towards job success. New research indicates that a person must also display a high level of EI which contributes 27-45% towards job success.
Some additional program highlights are:
- Identify and analyze the interpersonal and situational factors that create obstacles to achieving a high level of interpersonal effectiveness
- Assess the effectiveness in redirecting behaviors/actions when dealing with difficult situations
- Develop strategies for improving and strengthening work relationships

- Cancellations made three work days or more before the workshop will not be charged. No-shows will be assessed the entire fee. Substitutions may be made any time.
