Manuscripts are letters, diaries, and other unpublished documents from private individuals and organizations preserved for research purposes. Inventories to many of the collections are available. A Guide to Manuscripts, is accessible in HTML and PDF formats. Both are large files. The PDF file, which can be downloaded and printed, is 1.07MB. The HTML version is in three sections, with the largest - the list of entries - 937KB. Individual collections are also in our catalog on ODIN (see below). However, many collections have not yet been cataloged, so the Guide is much more complete.
