PUBLIC PRESENTATION ON MEDORA HISTORIC BUILDINGS’
SURVEY SET FOR SEPTEMBER 22 IN MEDORA
MEDORA – A public presentation on the Medora Historic Buildings’ survey completed this summer will be held Saturday, September 22 in the Roosevelt Room of the Community Center in Medora, beginning at 2 p.m. Mountain Time.
The public is invited to attend the meeting to share their thoughts about the survey. The presentation will be made by Steve Martens, associate professor of architecture at North Dakota State University in Fargo, who spent much of the summer completing a historic architecture survey of old buildings in Medora, using the national standards in place for the National Register of Historic Places.
Also attending the meeting will be Susan Quinnell, the State Historical Society of North Dakota’s (SHSND) review and compliance coordinator, who worked with Martens on the survey.
The study was funded by Alltel Corporation as a mitigation measure.
For more information, contact the SHSND’s review and compliance coordinator Susan Quinnell at (701) 328-3576.
