SHSND 8816.1-.4The Three Little Pigs based on a familiar nursery tale, were created by artisans of the Ceramics Project of the Works Project Administration (WPA), Mandan, North Dakota, between 1937 and 1942. The figurines were distributed to schools and libraries across the state. A large collection of WPA pottery is on permanent exhibit at the North Dakota Heritage Center.
