Soceity of North Dakota. Visitors may wish to begin their tour at the park museum,
where additional information about the site is available.
Fort Abercrombie State Historic Site is open as an outdoor museum free of charge year-round. The museum is open Thursday through Monday from May 16 through September 15. An admission fee is charged for the museum. State Historical Society of North Dakota Foundation members and children five and under are admitted free; school groups pay reduced admission. The park pavilion is available to groups on an advance rental agreement basis.
