Military Voting
Members of the armed services who are serving out of state or in other countries are able to vote absentee as well. While regular absentee voting is conducted mostly through the mail, military absentee voting is largely conducted via fax machines to save valuable time for sending and receiving ballots. The North Dakota Secretary of State's office has partnered with the Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) to make military voting as easy and time effective as possible.
