2006 HAVA Health and Human Services Grant Committee
The State Health and Human Services (HHS) Grant Committee is responsible for determining a plan for equitable
distribution of grant funds received by the state for the purpose of improving physical accessibility to polling sites
in all 53 counties. Committee membership includes state and local election officials representing varying sizes and
geographical distributions of counties, and emphasizes counties with varying degrees of accessibility issues.
