February 2011: Updated Web Services
The North Dakota GIS Hub offers a full range of new GIS web services including Esri format and OGC format such as WMS, WCS, WFS, and KML. These web services and their capabilites can be browsed in the GIS Hub REST interface. More information on these services including how to find them, how to use them, and what all of these acronyms mean can be found on the Web Services page.
Please note that if you are a current user of the old ND GIS Hub's Web Map Services (WMS), raster services (services beginning with ras_), and/or feature services (services beginning with fea_) there is important information that you need to know - the old web services are being replaced by new web services. This includes the NDDOT road conditions, please see the November 2010 news item for the first announcement.
