Designed for non-, new, and advanced users, the presentation focuses on how GIS technology can enhance and improve rural tax assessment, how GIS technology can make rural assessment more accurate and efficient. Highlighting the latest technologies currently in use at various county and state assessment departments, the presentation will reference several examples of various types (i.e. assessment, land use, and CAMA systems in addition to some non-assessment examples such as water/wastewater, natural resources, electrical, gas, public safety, etc.).
