GISTC Recieves U.S.G.S. Grant
The GISTC, represented by the Information Technology Department, received a grant from the U.S. Geological Survey in September 2007 to upgrade the GIS Hub data distribution capabilities. The primary focus of the upgrade will be to improve vector data downloading and possibly implement raster data downloading. In December the initial installation and configuration will take place. The GISTC wishes to thank our past U.S.G.S. liaison, Ron Wencl, for his efforts in helping us to get the grant.
