Update on GIS in North Dakota Schools Program

The contract with ESRI has been updated to include ArcView 9.2 and to include just K-12 schools. The new 9.2 version of ArcView has been sent to 19 schools. Community colleges have the option to upgrade their existing contract to include 9.2 for $500.

The Career and Technical Education Department will be working with "Emerging Technology" consortiums to develop 6-week modules that can be integrated into existing curriculums.
