ND GISTC Endorses Imagery for the Nation
The GIS Technical Committee (GISTC) has passed a resolution (91kb pdf) in support of the Imagery for the Nation initiative as put forth by the National States Geographic Information Council (NSGIC). The Imagery for the Nation initiative will provide a sustainable and flexible digital imagery program that meets the needs of local, state, regional, tribal and federal agencies. This initiative will have a direct and positive impact upon all levels of government and the public in North Dakota and the rest of the country.
