A collaborative approach to GIS in Fargo and Cass County

Cass County & City of Fargo have taken a collaborative approach to developing GIS within their two entities. Together with Pro-West & Associates they developed a customized desktop mapping application to be used by staff to view and manipulate their datasets. CCGIS has led to time & cost savings for departments, especially those that serve the public. This approach has enabled them to create seamless datasets that are now used in a number of other applications such as the Red River Regional Dispatch Center. Most of this presentation will focus on a demo of this application (CC-GIS).
