Extracting Data from the North Dakota GIS Hub
ArcMap - Internet Server
If you are using ArcMap 9.x or higher, and have connected to a Hub feature map service, you can right click on the layer name, select Data from the menu, then select Export Data. You can connect to a Hub feature map service using one of two methods. One method is to use the "Add Data" menu option and then selecting the listed web server. The second method is to search for the data using the Metadata Explorer within ArcMap.
Please note that if the layer is large, e.g., the County and City Roads layer, the Rivers and Streams layer, etc., ArcMap will take a long time to gather the information prior to its extraction process. Please see FAQ #5 in the Help section for more details.
