Extracting Data from the North Dakota GIS Hub

Download Data - Hub Explorer

Use the Hub Explorer to first preview then download data. Please note that at this time only vector data can be downloaded. Multiple layers can be downloaded at one time in a format and coordinate system of your choosing. The data can be clipped to the extents of the current Hub Explorer view or it can be downloaded at the full data extent up to the limit provided by the ZOOM FULL button in the Hub Explorer.

Once you are viewing the data you wish to download, click on the Hub Explorer EXTRACT DATA button. A new browser window will open giving you the steps for downloading the data. Note that you may have to first click on the EXPANDED MENU button to see the EXTRACT DATA button.

When the data has been processed and is ready for you to download, you will be sent an email to the address that you specified in the order form. That email will contain a link to a ZIP file that contains your data, along with FGDC-compliant metadata file or files with a .txt suffix.
