The presentation will present GIS educational opportunities available for North Dakota students. Exciting state wide initiatives will be presented. A description of Instructor training classes presented last summer and this fall will be given. Free training opportunities for North Dakota educators for summer 2005 will be presented. It will describe a stand-alone semester class as well as integration opportunities in many other subject areas. The presentation will show many uses of GIS in our present society and discuss the present and future needs for skilled GIS workers. Time will be available for questions and discussions.
