The dark columns in Legislative Hall are East Indian Rosewood and the light panels above the seating area is called Curly Maple. Since the Capitol Building was built in the 1930's, there is a art deco design throughout. The height in both Memorial and Legislative Hall is 40 feet from the floor to the ceiling.
