Medical Services
Mission
The mission of the ND DOCR Medical Departments is to provide a community standard of health care to offenders who are sentenced to our facilities through nursing care, medical care, pharmaceutical offerings, dental care and mental health care. This is accomplished by utilizing staff cooperation and team work. Health care practices will continue to be upgraded and improved through a quality review process with a commitment to accountability, professionalism and respect for the offenders in our care. Health Services are provided to offenders while maintaining safety and security for staffs, offenders and the public.
