The North Dakota Youth Correctional Center endorses a ZERO-TOLERANCE approach to gangs and gang activity. The staff members of the North Dakota Youth Correctional Center will deal with any display of gang activity or gang affiliation immediately and appropriately. Using Intervention Strategies through the correction of cognitive distortions using the EQUIP Program as a guide, strategies are designed to achieve both preventive and rehabilitative goals in efforts to satisfy appropriate youth and societal aspirations.
