INMATE VISITING HOURS
All visitors must complete a visiting application and be pre-approved and placed on the inmates visiting list prior to visiting. All visitors are subject to search upon entering the James River Correctional Center.
MONDAY:
6:30pm to 8:30pm
TUESDAY:
6:30pm to 8:30pm
WEDNESDAY:
6:30pm to 8:30pm
THURSDAY:
6:30pm to 8:30pm – Adults Only
FRIDAY:
6:30pm to 8:30pm
WEEKENDS
8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. is adults only
Inmates with the last name starting A through L will be allowed to visit on Saturdays. Those with a last name starting with M through Z will be allowed to visit on Sundays.
HOLIDAYS: (New Year's Day, Good Friday, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas)
9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Take exit 260 (first exit into Jamestown).
Turn left onto business loop (14th Street).
Turn left onto 12th Ave which becomes the State Hospital Road. (by Stop N Go)
Continue on that road until you come to the North Dakota State Hospital Grounds.
Follow signs for James River Correctional Center (JRCC).
Take exit 258 which is the Hwy 281 exit and turn south (right).
Turn left onto 37th St SE or Country Club Road.
Turn left on to State Hospital Road.
Take first right and follow signs for the James River Correctional Center.
Turn left onto 37th St SE or Country Club Road.
Turn left on to State Hospital Road.
Take first right and follow signs for the James River Correctional Center.
