DOCR Training & County Facilities
On behalf of the North Dakota DOCR Training staff welcome to the DOCR Training and County Facilities section of the DOCR webpage. DOCR Training Staff are responsible for managing and facilitating all staff training within the DOCR In addition the DOCR provides Correctional Officer Basic Training as well as in-service training, to all county correctional professionals within our state. DOCR Facility Inspection staff provide annual inspections of all adult and juvenile city, county and regional correctional facilities within North Dakota in accordance with North Dakota Century Code 12-44.1.
The North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (DOCR) would like to invite the sheriffs and administrators of North Dakota to comment on the proposed 2017 North Dakota Correctional Facility Standards before the standards go into effect January 1, 2017.
Public comment is open from Thursday, November 10, 2016 to Friday, December 16, 2016, and you may submit your comments to Steve Engen at email@example.com. The DOCR will review the comments and determine if change is necessary after the public comment session has closed.
