ORIENTATION

Each resident will be involved in an orientation/assessment process during the initial part of his or her stay in TRCC. Orientations will include:

Addiction treatment groups, cognitive restructuring, skills needed to accomplish treatment completion and introduction to the Therapeutic Community.

Each discipline will present a short synopsis of programs offered to TRCC Residents. Included in the presentation is a brief screening that will help determine how to match residents with available services and programs.

Staff disciplines involved: Vocational Rehabilitation, Therapeutic Recreation, Chaplain, Adult Education, Addiction, Occupational Therapy, DOCR case manager, Cognitive Restructuring facilitator.

2:40 – 3:00 TRCC Conference Room ……………Occupational Therapy

3:00 – 3:45 TRCC Conference Room ……………Adult Educational

3:45 – 4:00 TRCC Conference Room ……………DOCR
