The mission of the Tompkins Rehabilitation and Corrections Center (TRCC) is to provide diagnosis and treatment services to assist chemically dependent individuals in achieving meaningful and lasting sobriety in their lives.
The Tompkins Rehabilitation and Corrections Center is a Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation funded program at the North Dakota State Hospital. Its 90 beds are organized on three wards designated as follows:
Tompkins Rehabilitation and Corrections Center Residential Rehab/Intensive Outpatient
The Resident population of TRCC consists of adult men and women (18 years or older). On TRCC, the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation refer residents as part of the contracted programs.
The typical TRCC Resident has a DSM-IV diagnosis of alcohol or other drug dependence and meets the DOCR/State Hospital criteria for the corrections programs as follows:
