Behavioral Health Services

The mission of the Division of Parole and Probation is to improve public safety by providing effective correctional interventions for people on supervision so that they can be law abiding.
Transitional Planning Services
Transitional Planning is a team collaboration whose mission is to effectively plan, monitor and advance department's efforts to reduce individuals’ risk of recidivism as they transition throughout our correctional system in order to ensure public safety and preserve the rights of victims.
Youth Correctional Center
To provide professional, team-oriented juvenile correctional services to troubled adolescents within a safe and secure environment.
Juvenile and Community Services
The mission of the Division of Juvenile Services/Community Services is to provide a continuum of services to juvenile delinquent and unruly youth in North Dakota and to protect society from those juveniles who are a danger to themselves and others. This will be accomplished through the development of a Treatment and Rehabilitation plan for each juvenile and through the provision of an array of services by a dedicated staff who will ensure that the juvenile receives these services in the least restrictive environment.

Rough Rider Industries employs people to produce quality goods and services in a self-sustaining manner, making their time of incarceration productive, while preparing individuals to successfully reintegrate into society.
