Some services covered by Healthy Steps:
- Inpatient hospital stay, medical & surgical services;
- Outpatient hospital and clinic services;
- Mental health and substance abuse services;
- Prescription medications;
- Routine preventive services (i.e. well-baby check-ups and immunizations);
- Dental and vision services;
- Prenatal services
Healthy Steps insurance features comprehensive coverage. Based upon the state employee insurance plan, it also provides coverage for preventive services and some dental and vision services.
