Fargo Child Support Enforcement Office Moving May 29-30
Beginning June 2, parents should seek services at 4950 13th Ave S., Suite 22 – in the Time Square East retail center near Walmart.   The move will disrupt some services May 29-30 as computers, phones, and work stations are relocated.  For customer service during the move, call 701-298-4900 or  1-800-231-4255.

The North Dakota Supreme Court has developed forms that can be used by self-represented parties who are seeking to modify (change) the child support obligation in their case. The forms, instructions, and other information are available on the Supreme Court's web site.

2006 Updates
December 2006 Child Support Enforcement recently completed its eighth annual assessment of North Dakota's voluntary paternity acknowledgment program. The assessment included identifying the hospitals that are high performers with respect to providing voluntary paternity acknowledgment services. Among large hospitals, Mercy Hospital of Devils Lake was the highest-performing hospital, followed by Innovis Health of Fargo and Altru of Grand Forks. Among medium-sized hospitals, St. Joseph's Hospital of Dickinson was the highest performer. Among small hospitals, First Care Health Center of Park River and Mercy Hospital of Valley City were the highest performers.

September 2006 Child Support recently received a Section 1115 Grant from the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
August 2006 The Department of Human Services is proposing amendments to the child support guidelines. A public hearing on the proposed amendments is scheduled for November 16, 2006. In addition, the Department will be accepting written comments on the proposed amendments until November 27, 2006. The proposed amendments, a fact sheet summarizing the proposed amendments, and information about the public hearing and submitting written comments is available on this web site.
January 2006 New Feature: Individuals who want to apply for child support services can now use this web site to complete an application online. Once completed, the application will be electronically submitted to a child support enforcement office.
