Common Errors

Error 3: Employer provides an incorrect case identifier with payment

Problem: If the SDU receives a payment with an incorrect case identifier, the payment will be applied to the wrong child support case.

Appropriate Action: Employers must provide a case identifier for each payment remitted. The case identifier can be found on the income withholding order.
